i have seen many sneakers on light posts in my neighbourhood of Park Slope. Some people say it marks the death of a young amle and his friends hand up his sneakers while someone else told me it marks a spot where drugs can be bought>Now help me with this possible urban legend.
    Love yout photo.Thanks susan

From what I’ve heard, it’s just a fun thing to do with your old pair of sneakers, and it doesn’t signify anything. It’s just like graffitti, a way to leave your mark on something in your neighborhood.
